ANI reported that Mrs. Rai Bachchan, who has worked in films including Bride and Prejudice who is a former Miss World, is being treated at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Test results showed that she and her daughter were positive last week and were in self-isolation at home.

Amitabh, 77, who starred in The Great Gatsby and is perhaps the best known Indian actor, tweeted on Sunday that he was positive.

Abhishek confirmed in a later tweet that his wife Aishwarya and her 46 year old daughter Aradia were also positive.
