Malik Abdul Basit, a rapper known for his work with roots as Malik B, died. He was 47.

Malik B. First met the founders of Roots Admirer Thompson and Tariq Trotter - before they were better known as Questlove and Black Thought, respectively - while attending University of Millersville, in rural Pennsylvania, in the early 1990s. It was two things, a night drink, a night grain
Instead of riding on the road, she prefers to relax
I know how happy I am, I don't judge
But I'm still on mission, I'm not in vain. "
Regardless, the owner was b. Guest on three songs from Game Theory, the seventh album Roots, released in 2006. It also released EP, myself, the same year.
