New Delhi: Union Minister of Interior Amit Shah tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday and was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for treatment.

Shah also asked people who called him in the past few days to isolate themselves and also take the test.
According to a source, Shah was tested Sunday morning and his report came in the late afternoon.

Before that, Shah was present on Wednesday at a cabinet meeting that approved the new national education policy. There, Shah was in direct contact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of I & B Prakash Javadkar, and Minister of Human Resources Development Ramesh Bokrial "Nishank".
